OBJECTIVES

1.     To solicit local, regional and international community diplomatic good will and material support to promote its objectives.

2.     To consult and help mobilize Zimbabweans at home and abroad to come to the National convention.

3.      To mobilize resources from among Zimbabwean and International donors to execute the mission as given above and solicit African community participation in the final resolve of providing impartial umpires to moderate the conference.

4.      To seek to convene the meeting at a neutral venue commonly agreed upon by the majority of all the stakeholders.

5.      To appoint a respected African who is not Zimbabwean to chair the convention with the aid of other African experts chairing the various committees. It is essential that the chairman be a non-Zimbabwean in order to ensure neutrality and fairness to all parties involved.

6.     To oversee all the activities of the convention and work closely with the Chairman.

7.     To closely monitor the implementation of the resolutions determined at the conference.
